Our Year 6 students were making a super interesting project with teacher Juliet (from the University of Alicante). She explained to our pupils the parts of a comic strip and split the classes into pair or groups of three. After that, kids had to choose a city or country and invent a short story. They first wrote the storyline in a piece of paper, creating the characters, title and events happening in the comic strip. Next we started to go to the computer’s room to enter and get used to the online app needed: STORYBOARDTHAT.COM (free version only). So, in a couple of weeks the children made a surprising comic strips using both written English and new technologies. It was a great success.

Thanks Juliet for your help, ideas and great work. Wishing you all the best.
